The Unseen
Date: 2021/05 Team size: 9 Time: 7 weeks
The Unseen was our third group project in Futuregames where we chose to make a horror game about a mechanic that must repair an abandoned water plant facility while being hunted down by an invisible monster. The player must use a multitool to fix the facility and to keep tabs on the monster.

My Role
I worked on technician mechanics, like unscrewing bolts, connecting cables , switches, valves, welding and creating the infrastructure for all this using interfaces. Besides that I also programmed the player movement.


Player Movement
Through the development of the game the capabilities of the player changed to fit the focus of the game, originally the player could sprint, crouch and jump, but we realized that these abilities detracted from the horror aspects.
Interfaces
In this project I focused on making all the technician mechanics easy for designers to work with, to this end, I made the multitool interactions with an interface so that designers could easily change what happens when the multitool is used depending on what is in front of it.
